Job Summary
Assists with production technology and provides production support for the assigned area.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
1. Provides support for live event technical production for performances including live and recording audio, lighting, and broadcast video as assigned
2. Technical support for audio, video and lighting systems for faculty and students
3. Assists with archival concert recordings and recording distribution for the department
4. Assists with the collection, organization, and dissemination of performance related information for concerts
5. Assists with equipment inventory database and maintenance schedules for department technology
6. Serves as onsite event manager for events as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
One (1) year work experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of technical requirements (stage management, audio/video equipment and software) preferred
Competency with general computer office software (Microsoft Office, Teams, etc.) and audio/video production software preferred
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines required
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of live concert and sound production, recording, and general lighting techniques preferred
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills required
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite) required
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills required
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette required
